Do you still sell SPC?
We focus on MFB as our main next-gen waterproof floor, because it's PVC-free and more stable than many SPC options. In some circumstances we can still work with SPC, but nine times out of ten we'll recommend MFB instead, and we'll explain why in your consult.
Is MFB more expensive than SPC?
MFB is typically priced in the same ballpark as good-quality SPC. Because TradeFlooring imports directly, you're not paying three layers of middleman margin. The difference in performance vs cost is why we've shifted focus to MFB.
Is MFB really waterproof?
Yes – MFB is designed as a fully waterproof system, with a mineral core and protective layers engineered to resist water, stains and abrasion. It's used in high-moisture environments internationally and tested for dimensional stability under heat and humidity.
What about indoor air quality?
